How to set a focus keyword

Learn how to set a focus keyword or custom keyword and view how it performs over time.

You can set a focus keyword for a post or page by clicking on the star to the right of the keyword that you want to use (see screenshot below). Once you click the star it will turn blue and move to the top of the list.

You can also set a custom keyword by clicking on the button "Set Custom Keyword" and typing the word or phrase you want to track (see below).

You can also view a keyword's performance over time. Click on the chart icon to the right of a keyword to see it appear on the graph above as an orange line (see below).

We're hoping to add more robust features over the next few months, such as filtering by keyword rank and sending alerts to let you know how your post is performing. Stay tuned!
