How to Create and Manage Labels in Clariti

Labels in Clariti help you stay organized and track content across custom categories.

Labels help you filter posts quickly and take action more efficiently. We will walk you through how to create and apply labels to your posts.

Many bloggers use Labels to stay on top of their update workflow, such as:

  • Labeling posts by update year: “Updated 2024”

  • Grouping posts by topic or season, “Easter” or “Summer Salad”

  • Tagging posts for internal strategy “Needs SEO” or “Noindex”

Create a Label

  1. In your Clariti account, navigate to Settings

  2. In the Content Labels box, click the ➕ button to create a new label

  3. Type your label name

  4. Select a color to help visually organize your labels

  5. Click the checkmark to save your label

Assign Labels to Your Content

Once your labels are created, head to the Explore page to assign them to your posts:

  1. Select one or more posts

    1. Select one or more posts by checking the boxes next to each title.

    1. Use filters to narrow your list to a specific group of content.

    2. You can also use the Super Search button to find a specific post or keyword across your site.

  2. Click the Action button () menu in the upper right corner

  3. Choose “Manage Labels”

  4. Select the label(s) you want to apply or create a new one directly from the field.

  5. Click Apply—done!

💡 Pro Tip: Use multiple labels per post to create cross-sections of content


Delete a Label Entirely

  1. In your Clariti account, navigate to Settings

  2. Find the label in the Content Labels box

  3. Click the Action button () next to the label

  4. Select Delete

Remove a Label from a Post

  1. From the Explore page, click the post to open it

  2. Find the label you want to remove

  3. Click the X on the label
