If the Author information for your content does not appear under the Content details, this may be due to specific settings in your WordFence security plugin.
WordFence
WordFence is a security plugin for WordPress sites. Its setting, designed to prevent the discovery of usernames, can inadvertently disable the users' endpoint for unauthenticated users, subscribers, and authors. This means that Clariti, as an unauthenticated user, may not be able to access the necessary data to display author/user information.
Quick Fix: Adjusting WordFence Settings
The simplest solution to this issue is to adjust your WordFence settings.
Navigate to WordFence → All Options.
Locate the Brute Force Protection section.
Find the setting that prevents the discovery of usernames and disable it.
Disabling this setting should allow Clariti to access and display author/user information as expected.
Alternative Solution: IP Address Allow List
WordFence allows specific IP addresses to bypass certain rules. If Clariti requests are coming from a static IP address, adding it to the WordFence allow list might resolve the issue. However, this solution might not be stable long-term, as IP addresses can change.

Future Solutions: Authenticated Requests
We are exploring more solutions, such as treating Clariti requests as authenticated. We are investigating how to implement this securely and efficiently, ensuring that Clariti can access the necessary data without compromising your site’s security. Any solution we implement will be designed to respect your privacy and security settings. We will ensure that any data Clariti uses for authentication can be controlled and revoked by you at any time.
