If you log in and see a page titled Account Disabled, Clariti has turned off your account and the sites you own because your subscription is not active. If a payment failed, your content, projects, notes, and history are still there, and everything turns back on automatically once the payment goes through.
Why It Happens
Your account is turned off when your subscription stops being active. The most common reasons are:
A renewal payment did not go through. This is usually an expired card, a card that was replaced, or a payment your bank declined.
Your subscription was cancelled and the last paid period has ended.
How to Turn It Back On
If a payment failed
1. On the Account Disabled page, click Open Customer Payment Portal.
2. Update your card. See Manage Your Billing, Payment Method, and Invoices for a walkthrough of the portal.
3. Once the outstanding payment goes through, your account and sites turn back on automatically and you can log in as usual.
If you have updated your card and still see the Account Disabled page, email us and we will get the payment through for you.
If you cancelled and want to come back
Clariti cannot reactivate a cancelled account. To come back, sign up again and start fresh with a new account. You can see current plans at clariti.com/pricing. See What Happens to Your Data When You Cancel for how long your old data is kept.
If You Are a Team Member
When a site owner's account is disabled, their sites are turned off for everyone on the team. You will not be able to open those sites until the owner updates their billing. Let the site owner know, or email us and we will reach out to them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Did I lose my data?
No. A disabled account keeps its content, projects, tasks, notes, labels, annotations, and traffic history. Data for a disabled account is kept for one year, then permanently deleted. See What Happens to Your Data When You Cancel for details.
Why don't I see a payment portal button?
The button only appears for the account that pays for the Clariti subscription. If you are a team member, contact the site owner. If you pay for Clariti and do not see it, email us and we will help.
I think my account was disabled by mistake.
Email us with the address on your account and we will look into it right away.
