Clariti keeps track of every link in and out of your posts. It shows you which posts link to each other, which posts nothing links to, and which links are broken. This article walks through where to find all of that and what to do with it.
Where to Find a Post's Links
Open any post and click the Content tab. Below the images, you will find three link lists:
Internal Links to Other Content lists the links in this post that point to other pages on your site. When Clariti knows the page, you see its title and can click through to it in Clariti.
Inbound Links from Other Content lists the other posts on your site that link to this one. These are your internal backlinks. Click a title to open that post.
External Links to Other Sites lists links that point off your site, like affiliate links, product links, or a shout-out to another blogger.
Orphaned Posts
When no other post on your site links to a post, its inbound list reads None, this page is orphaned. Orphaned posts are harder for readers and search engines to find, because the only ways in are search, social, and your archives. A new sheet pan dinner that none of your weeknight roundups mention is a classic example.
To find every orphan on your site:
Open Super Search and choose Posts that are orphaned.
Or in Explore, click Add Filter, choose Inbound Link Count under Links, and set it to 0 through 0.
Or add the Inbound Links column and sort it lowest first to see posts with only one or two inbound links, too.
To fix an orphan, link to it from a few related posts. Add that sheet pan dinner to your "30 Easy Weeknight Dinners" roundup and to a similar recipe or two.
Broken Links
Clariti tests every link and image on your site about once a month. When a link does not work, it shows in the list with its status and when it was last tested, like Status 404 (Not Found) | Last tested followed by the date.
To find broken links across your site:
Add the Broken Links column in Explore and sort it highest first.
Or add the Broken Link Count filter under Opportunities.
Or open Super Search and try Posts with broken links by most sessions to start with your busiest posts.

Ignoring a Link You Know Works
Some sites block automated checks, so a link that opens fine for you can still show as broken. If you have checked it, tick the box in the Ignore column at the end of its row. While Clariti saves, the box shows Still Working... when you hover over it.
Ignoring applies to your whole site. Every post that links to that same URL has it ignored too, and it stops counting toward Broken Links and Issues everywhere. Uncheck the box to undo it, which also applies sitewide. See Why Are Working Links Flagged as Broken?.
Retesting Links Now
Fixed a link and do not want to wait for the monthly check?
1. Open the post.
2. Click Quick Actions and choose Retest Links.
3. In the Confirm Retest Links window, click Continue.
It takes a few seconds to schedule. A message then confirms that the links and images on the post will be retested within the next 24 hours.
When Inbound Links Look Out of Date
A post's inbound list is built from the links in your other posts. When you add a link in Post A that points to Post B, Post B's list updates after Clariti re-reads Post A. That normally happens on its own when you update Post A in WordPress, because the Clariti plugin lets Clariti know about the change.
If the new link still is not showing on Post B, open Post A (the one that contains the link) in Clariti and use Quick Actions > Sync Content. Inbound links update in the background, so give it a little while afterward. See How to Manually Sync a Single Post or Page.
Retest Links checks whether links work. It does not rebuild the inbound list, so Sync Content is the one to use here.
Links From Other Websites
Clariti does not track links from other websites to yours. Finding those would mean crawling the whole web, so the Inbound Links from Other Content list only includes posts and pages on your own site. For links from other sites, Google Search Console has a Links report that lists the sites linking to you.
Links in Explore
Explore has columns and filters for every kind of link count, so you can find patterns across your whole site:
Columns. Links, Internal Links, External Links, Inbound Links, and Broken Links.
Filters. Link Count, Internal Link Count, External Link Count, and Inbound Link Count under Links, plus Broken Link Count under Opportunities.
For example, filter Internal Link Count to 0 through 1 to find posts that barely link to anything else on your site, which are easy wins for a quick internal linking pass.

Why does a link that works show as broken?

I fixed a broken link. Why is it still showing?
If you edited the post, use Sync Content so Clariti reads the updated post. If you fixed the page the link points to, use Retest Links. Results arrive within 24 hours.
Does ignoring a link on one post affect my other posts?
Yes. Ignoring a broken link or image applies to every post on your site that uses the same URL.
Can Clariti show me backlinks from other websites?
No. Clariti tracks links between the posts and pages on your own site. Google Search Console's Links report covers links from other sites.
