Log into your Clariti dashboard. Navigate to Settings > "Download the plugin here"

Click on the zip file and save the file somewhere you can easily find it.

After downloading the .zip file, do not unzip it. Leave the file zipped. You will not be able to upload the plugin to your website if the file is unzipped.

Some systems automatically unzip files when you download them. If this is the case, right-click on the folder that was downloaded and select "Compress." Use this newly created zip file in the instructions below.

Log into your WordPress dashboard. Navigate to Plugins > Add New

Click Upload Plugin

Find your plugin zip file from the Choose File selector, and click Install Now

The file you select must be the entire zipped file you downloaded after purchasing. Do not unzip the file and select any of the containing files or folders. The file name will look similar to the one below, but with an updated version number.

Once the plugin has been successfully installed, click Activate Plugin

Next, you'll need to add your API Key.

Navigate back to your Clariti dashboard under "settings". Under the plugin download you will see:

Copy this code.

Return to your WordPress site. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins > Clariti > Settings

Paste your API key where it says "API Key"

Then "Save Changes"

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I use my API key on multiple sites?

Each Clariti API key is valid on only one site.

What if I want to use the plugin on more than one site?

Currently, each API key can only be used with one site. Additionally, users are only able to set up one site per account. Please contact support if you'd like to add a second blog.

Do I need to download a new version of the plugin for every update?

No. As long as you have a valid license key, you will be prompted to update the plugin in your WordPress Dashboard Plugins area.
